Drawbridge in World Showcase Have you ever seen it? It is between China and the Outpost. There is a canal that leads from the main lagoon to a small area behind the pavilions. This is where they store the barges that are used in the Illuminations show. About the middle of the afternoon, while it is still daylight, they bring the barges out and get them into position for the show later that evening. Just thought I would mention it. If you are walking around the lagoon, sometimes you might get stuck for a while by the drawbridge, although it is kind of cool to see this kind of stuff.

Re: Drawbridge in World Showcase Last January my Mom and I got stuck while the drawbridge was up and the barges were coming out. I remember that we were rushing to get to a show and ended up missing it. Oh well, that's why we always have to plan to go back! ![]()

Re: Drawbridge in World Showcase Thanks for posting the pictures you guys! I guess I didn't have my camera with me that day. This is one of those things that make frequent Disney trips pay off - you always see something different. Even though you won't see this on any schedule, I noticed that Jennifer and Dave have a great layout of this storage area on their Epcot map in the Passporter.
