DDE + Disney Visa rewards question

Does anyone know if you can use the rewards points from the Disney Visa card at the same time as the Disney Dining Experience discount? For example, say the meal for three people would normally be $100, minus $20 DDE discount = $80. If you then have Disney Visa rewards points of $50, could you use it at the same time, or is this one of those "offers cannot be combined" type of situations? Thanks!!!

I wouldn't see why you couldn't use it. It's almost like a gift card so I would say you could, since it's a whold separate thing.

Re: DDE + Disney Visa rewards question

Although I've never done this, I don't think you should have any problems using both.

Are you staying at a Disney Resort? If so, you can do what we do - charge some (or most) of your purchases back to the room - and then use the rewards card to pay down the balance - caution, you will want to make this payment prior to check out day.
This has worked well for us, and ensures that we redeem the entire balance of our rewards card and don't have any "leftovers".

I did this on our trip a couple weeks ago and had no problems whatsoever. The Disney Visa Rewards card is seen just like using a credit card.

This is what I do all the time. As a matter of fact when I check in and have to pay the room balance, I hand over the rewards card. We then use charging privileges for the trip. The whole trip is paid for using the charge card which is paid off in full when the bill comes. That way I use this trip to help pay for the next one!
