Birthday Button- MK

I read some where that you can get a button on your birthday? Where can you get it and are they only for kids? I will be at the MK on my birthday and would love to have one but I am not sure whether the adults wear them around the park?

I got one last year when I went for my birthday. I picked it up at Guest Services. Lots of adults wear them so go for it.

Re: Birthday Button- MK

You sure can - I've never been at WDW on my birthday, but both Amanda and Jennie have, and Sarah's going this year!! (she doesn't know yet!)

In Magic Kingdom, you can get your button right at City Hall, as Janine said, at Guest Services. I believe all the parks have them at Guest Services - we got them there at MGM for Jennie, and Epcot for Amanda as well.

We'll be picking one of these up at 8 am on September 3rd for my baby - she's turning 9 already!

There is no problem with an adult wearing one - just adds a bit of magic to the day!

Town Hall is on the left side, next to the Firehouse, when you enter the Magic Kingdom. Don't be shy about wearing it either... lots of Magical things can happen with it on.
DS5 wore it on his birthday, and had lots of magic come his way.

Also, Epcot and AK have their own birthday buttons (MGM uses the same as MK), so be sure to collect them all

Re: Birthday Button- MK

I wore one a couple years ago when I turned 21 and I got mine at MK at Town Hall! It was really fun to wear the button. Anyone can wear one! So go for it!! You get a lot of perks. Plus, my parents made me a shirt that I had to wear that mentioned my birthday on it! So, it was a good time!!

Re: Birthday Button- MK

We'll be arriving on my b-day (7/7) and I've made it quite clear that I MUST go to Town Hall to get my button!

Didn't know different parks have different buttons. Hmmm, we have to stop at Epcot to pick up our temp DDE cards anyway... Now to get to MGM & AK...

Re: Birthday Button- MK

Actually - MGM has the same button as the MK, or did back in 2003. I've never seen the AK button - it might have a different design. Let us know- we'll be down in September for my daughter Sarah's birthday! She loves AK, and animals - so she'll want both! The Epcot button is my favorite - has a bunch of Birthday wishes in all different languages!
