Stroller Prices Increased!!! We were at WDW when the prices increased. We rented one on Saturday, July 9 so a double was $15; when we went to rent one on Monday, July 11, I had my $15 all ready and was quite snottily told doubles were $18. They increased all strollers, wheelchairs, and ECV's as of Sunday, July 10th. It was so crowded at Disney, I figure, they knew they could increase their profits by thousands. $3 increase from Saturday to Sunday - I thought that was ridiculous and needless to say, it will be the LAST time we rent a stroller there.

Re: Stroller Prices Increased!!! Wow, that's surprising. I'm definatley going to be bringing our stroller from home. You would think with the price of admission they could keep the price of the stroller rentals down! Is it just me or does it seem like in the last month or so strange changes are being made that don't seem to be for the better....AP rates, ADR policy, etc? Wondering if anyone else feels this way too?

Re: Stroller Prices Increased!!! We had brought our umbrella stroller for Troian, but some days that we knew we were going to be going from park to park to park we decided to rent a double so that Benji could ride too. Plus hauling a stroller onto the buses was a big pain. I was hurriedly trying to fold it up one day when the bus driver rudely told me that I couldn't get on until it was folded (well, duh!!). [SIDENOTE: We had some awesome bus drivers from Pop Century (Bruce springs to mind - we had him twice) and we had some tired and cranky ones as well; oh well, it was really hot and humid so anyone can have a bad day, right??] Anyway, by renting one, we didn't have to constantly be hauling it onto the buses as we were changing parks.

Re: Stroller Prices Increased!!! [ QUOTE ] HOLY COW! That's expensive thanks for the heads up. [/ QUOTE ] I know!! I originally thought that $150 for 10 days (okay for a multi-day discount it might be $130) was horrible; but imagine $180 for 10 days (maybe $150 with discount) - that amount of $$ means less shopping and that's NOT something I'd be happy about.
