Thumbs up Discounts on Universal Orlando vacations

There are often discounts out there for Universal hotels or park tickets. So keep your eyes open on the internet. AAA members can save 10% almost anywhere in the parks. You can join Loew's first for discounts on their hotels (Universal hotels are operated by Loew's).

When planning a Universal trip, I check the Universal website for ticket discounts:

Universal Studios Tickets, Discount Tickets, Universal Studios Florida Tickets : Universal Orlando

And Mousesavers has a great list of any available discounts:

MouseSavers.com - Universal Orlando Discount - Universal Studios / Islands of Adventure - tickets, hotels, packages, meals and more!

If you are a resident of Florida, Georgia, or Alabama, you may be eligible for a discount on Universal hotels. Call 1-888-273-1311 and ask if there are discounts available. Annual passholders also get discounts on hotels at Universal.

In the past there were good discounts on Universal hotels with an Entertainment card, but those have been gone for several years. So don't expect a great hotel rate with an Entertainment card any more.

If you have any advice or tips on discounts at Universal, please share them here!

I would recommend becoming a AAA/CAA member if you're going to Universal. You can get a pretty good deal on the onsite hotels most of the time and you get discounts around the park by showing your membership card.
