HHN during the day?

Going to US/IOA for the first time during October. My question: During the daytime, are there any visible decorations that may scare a 5 and 7 year old? I know disney shuts down the park to transform into the Halloween park, but what about US?
Thanks for any information.

HHN decorations are up during the day. Oddly enough, I don't think they look too scary in the light, but I'm not 5 or 7 years old (not chronologically anyway ). Here are some photos of HHN decorations in the day so you can see if your kids will be scared by them:

When the park closes for HHN (around 5 or 5:30 pm), day guests are ushered out. Guests with HHN tickets can stay in a designated spot until the park is ready for HHN. The Universal employees really turn the park from the day look to the HHN look very quickly.

I've been un US many times during the day when HHN will be going on at night, and I never saw anything remotely frightening. But, then, I live in New York City . They'll be fine
