Side door entrance between USO and IOA

I read a thread somewhere that stated that there is a way to go from USO and IOA without exiting the park. Anyone know about this?
Thanks,
Karen

No, there is not a direct entrance from one park to another. There is an entrance to US from the Hard Rock Cafe. I think it opens two hours after park opening every day. So you can't use it first thing in the morning. However, it does make your walk from US to IOA a little shorter.

If you are inside US, turn beside Jimmy Neutron. You will walk by the building that used to be Nick Studios. The Hard Rock Cafe is on the left and there is a gate there. You can get your hand stamped there if necessary.

That's probably it. Thank you

that entrance has actually been moved. as what was the nick studios is now the blueman group theatre and they extended citywalk to cover it. at least it was moved during construction. dunno what the status is now.

but definitely never a direct connection between the two parks. they're close enough to easily walk between but never THAT close to the best of my knowledge.

It was open in December, we used it. But I'll check it next week when I'm there and see.

The only time there was a connecting walkway between IOA and USF was during HHN when they had the big 2 park HHN deal a few years ago. You had to walk past some backstage areas, some soundstages, and the Dumpster O'Doom. Well, at least on the VIP tour, I got to see the Dumpster O'Doom!

Happy to report that the park entrance/exit at the Hard Rock Cafe is still open. You walk right by the Blue Man building. There is a large arrow pointing left that says "Hard Rock Cafe". It doesn't open until 11:00 am so you can't use it first thing in the morning. But it's very handy to use the rest of the day.
