| I think it's definitely worth $135 more for 5 nights - just the close proximity to the parks makes it worth it.

| I think it's pretty obvious that the majority prefer the HRH. Money is a factor and $138 could buy a character breakfast or a few more treats for the kids, so I was really torn on what to do. Well, I just called Universal and I can get an obstructed view room with a CAA rate of $183/night - that's only $12 more/night ($68 for the 5 nights)!!!!! I cancelled my RPR ressie and booked HRH!!! After thinking it over, I think DS-6 will enjoy the slide at the pool more than he would the splash pad area at RP, but we'll maybe spend a few hours at the pool over there anyway. I think I would prefer the theming at RP, but maybe I'll book that when DH and I go by ourselves - hahahaha, like that'll ever happen! Thanks for all your opinions! |

| I think you'll be happy with your choice! The great thing about staying onsite is that you can get so much done at the parks with FOTL access. We are usually done at the parks around 2 pm. Then we can spend the afternoon at the pool. And the slide at HRH does get the vote with my family over the RP pool.

| We have stayed at both resorts and enjoyed both of them. The RPR seemed to be more enjoyable to us as a couple than it did to our daughter 12 at the time.RPR was much like staying in an island paradise and very relaxing. We enjoyed the restaurants but have to say Jake's was our favorite. This year we stayed at the HRH and our daughter now 15 was much more impressed than we were.We liked the place especially the pool but it is geared more to the younger generation.I thought the atmosphere was much more hustle and bustle as compared to the relaxing feeling at RPR.If you enjoy breakfast be sure to check out the breakfast buffet at the Kitchen, it was a bit pricey but very nice. Both resorts are great in their own way so either way you are the winner.Go and have a great time.

| Well......I've changed my reservation for the 2nd time! After switching over to the HRH I realized that although the HRH would be nice because it is a little closer to the US, has a slide in the pool and might appeal more to teenagers, I, myself, like the theming much better at RPR. This initially was a surprise trip but due to "circumstances beyond my control" (excitement!!!) my daughter found out. I showed her pics of both and she also prefers the theming of RPR also, so once again I switched my ressie - hopefully for the last time. |
