| We must have eaten at the big top together  When our kids were little we suffered through counter service meals at least once a trip but now we refuse.

| The counter service I've had at Universal has been pretty similar to counter service at WDW. Our faves are Midway Grill (Nathan's Hot Dogs and the best fries!) at US and the Enchanted Oak at IOA. The portions are huge at Enchanted Oak, great place to share meals. I found the food to be very good too.

| Delicious Trip to USF Thanks for all the tips. I can't believe we never found Mythos before. Wow - what an amazing lunch we had there. Husband and Son loved Tchoup chop, I wasn't feeling well that night but had a nice soup and loved the atmosphere. Bubba Gumps was just what I expected and everyone enjoyed that meal as well and I thought it was very reasonable.

| Thanks for the info, I too was wondering about restarants at Univ. Last time we only ate at NBA & Margaritaville. Mostly we ate off site. We are at HardRock for 1 night, then moving to the Doubletree Universal.

| Sue, we stayed at the Doubletree Universal last month, and it was great! Very nice place, I really enjoyed it. I had a view of the Hulk and Dr. Doom from my room.
