Question about City Walk

While I know everything about WDW (hehe), I know very little about Universal - never been there! We want to check out City Walk at the end of this month - dh wants to sing at the new Rising Star place. I looked at the tickets and it looks like the Party Pass that covers admission to all the bars is the way to go.

My questions are:
Is parking an issue like some nights at DTD or do they have plenty?
I don't need a Universal ticket to enter City Walk, correct? I see that you can add it on to Universal tickets so I thought I'd double check.
Do I just take the Universal exit off I4 to get there from WDW?

Thanks!

Universal has a big huge parking garage. just take a pic of where you park you may forget.
I also think they dont charge for parking after 6pm.. not sure, as we have not paid for parking at all because we have annual passes there aswell.

You will see 3 exit signs to the Universal Studios we usually take the 2nd one, sorry forgot the street name. Kirkman is one of them, Universal Blvd is ringing a bell

check mapquest to make sure.

As Janice said above,
There is a huge parking garage for the entire Universal complex. You actually have to walk through City Walk to get to the two parks. Parking is free after a certain time.

You do not need a ticket to USF or IOA in order to go to City Walk.

Just follow the signs for Universal Studios on I-4. At the bottom of the exits, you'll see signs directing you towards the complex.

My questions are:
Is parking an issue like some nights at DTD or do they have plenty? There is more than enough parking!

Do I just take the Universal exit off I4 to get there from WDW? Yup!

The add-on thing is an admission to the clubs, like the admission at PI is for their clubs. But there is no charge to just walk around City Walk and shop/dine and take in the street performances.

That's what I hate about going to DTD on weekend nights. You can't find a parking space. I went to Crique at DTD. I remember driving around and around for a space. I finally found a space in the boonies!

Universal's parking garage is huge. I've never seen it fill up. Even then, I believe Universal has overflow parking somewhere. Self-parking in the garage is free after 6 pm. You can also use valet parking. I believe it is $9 for less than 2 hours and $18 for more than 2 hours. Some restaurants (like Emeril's) will validate your valet parking if you eat there. Your valet parking will be free if you eat at Emeril's. Just remember to give a few dollars to the valet dude who brings your car around.

Some clubs will charge admission after around 10 or 11 pm for nightclub activitives. You can buy the Citywalk party pass if you plan on shakin' your booty at several clubs. Obviously, food and merchandise is at a charge. Otherwise, you can walk around Citywalk all night long for no charge.

Is the city Pass incl. in the 7 day park pass I got over the internet on the Universal site? Does that mean the club cover charge is waived?
