| Getting to US from Royal Pacific Royal Pacific Resort is one of the US Hotels. Is it in walking distance or do they have buses/shuttles for the resort guests? Just trying to plan things out for our trip next year. We will have a car, but if we don't have to drive it/park it that would be great, but I really don't want to be at the mercy of a shuttle that may only leave a couple of times a day. I've heard that complaint about hotels that are not "on property" for either US or WDW. And if it's walking distance - approximately how far are we talking?

| You won't need your car if you're staying at RP. You can walk to US, I'm guessing it's about a 15 min walk. Or you can take the water taxi, which will let you out at CityWalk and then you'll walk the short distance to US, about 5 minutes at the most.

| RPR is closest to IOA, but not far from Universal. I'd definitely walk between the parks and the resort.

| Thanks! I figured it was a quick walk/ride of some sort. We haven't completely decided where we are staying, but are leaning towards this for convenience (and the cost isn't bad either). We are planning a major trip (may end up being 14-16 days including travel days) that will include US, SW, (DH is seriously considering BG too), KSC, a 4 day Disney cruise and 4-6 days at WDW! I may not survive this trip!!! But what a way to go!!!!!!

| A walk from RPR to Citywalk is around 10-15 minutes (or 10 at galloping speed). You can take the water taxi (which everyone takes) or the shuttle bus (which very few people take). I don't know if the shuttle bus is still offered, but try to use it, particularly during park opening or park closing. The water taxi gets very busy during those times. I suppose you can drive from RPR to the parks, but then you'll have to park in the parking garages. A walk from the garage to the parks is about 10-15 minute anyway, so take the onsite transportation or use foot power. It'll be better in the long run.

| Thanks for all the info. DH, DS and I have no issues with walking. We kind of like the "down time" to just enjoy the scenery and each other for a bit before and after being at the parks. It's great to know that we won't have to deal with the car those days.
