Mythos review

Ok so we did it. We went to Mythos. We were NOT disappointed. The only drawback and it was only a small drawback was that we thought the portions were just a tiny bit small. Especially the dessert. Our wonderful server offered to use my camera to take a picture which I will include in my trip report "Every theme park but Disney........) I got some great shots. The menu changes quite frequently so it doesn't make sence to describe what we had and everything but the dessert, the gooey banana cake stays on the menu and IT was awsome. My kids like that they were spoken to like adults, and even the manager stopped at the table for a visit. When I told him how we really enjoyed the service, he made sure he told me that he would let him know. All in all, we were VERY glad we made the decision. It IS pricey, and you have to know that going into it, but we figured what the heck, we don't take vacations like this every year and for once we'll splurge. I just wanted everyone to know that we really enjoyed ourselves. TIP: Make a reservation first thing in the morning at guest services at Citiwalk. Otherwise, the wait can be over an hour.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I've eaten at Mythos 2 or 3 times now and I've never been disappointed.

Thanks for the tip! We are planning on going to Mythos in August, and I was wondering if that is the only way to make a reservation. Do they take advance reservations!

Can anyone tell me the best way to make a reservation for Mythos? Do they take advance reservations, or does one have to go to Citiwalk first thing in the morning to make a reservation. And if so, where exactly at Citiwalk would I need to go?

We're going to Universal and IOA for the first time in August, and we're really excited about it!

you dont really need one, but if you want to be on the safe side I'd say make one at the city walk booth when you first get there.
but then again I go in sept when its not crowded.

Thanks! We're going the last week of August, when most kids are back to school, so I'm hoping it won't be too crowded.

We went in April and I STRONGLY advise you to make seating plans at the booth. You really can't miss it, its in the middle before the entrances to both "Islands".
