| Getting to Universal from airport Does anyone know if Universal has anything set up like DME? Just wondering how we will get from the airport to Hard Rock Hotel.  |

| I dont think they have anything like that. Maybe check their website.. I would use mears in this case. its about 20.00 each way.

| If you do take a cab.....make sure you don't get one of the gypsy cabs (unregulated). One of my sister's coworkers grabbed one by mistake and ended up spending a forture and it was a bit scary for her when they took a round-about way. My sister and I didn't have trouble with our cab to Universal though. (She was there for a conference...and I stowed away to visit the parks).

| I just returned from Universal, it cost me $39.00 for a cab from The Doubletree Universal (just outside the Universal parking lots) to the airport. I made sure I got a metered cab.
