| Ticket Specials Can anyone offer some insight on Universal's ticket sales. Do they offer various discounts throughout the year or does the $$ stay pretty consistent. I was reading a guide book from a couple of years ago that says that they once offered a children's ticket 3-9yr olds for free with the purchase of an adult 2 day 2 park pass. Have they done this lately. We are going to Florida in July (HOT ) and plan to visit Universal and IOA for our first time as a family. I would also like to hit Epcot. I'm trying to get the best possible deal....tickets are just so expensive!!! With the prices right now it will cost our family of 3 about $270 for 1 day 2 parks at Universal and $226 for Epcot I would like to knock a few bucks off those Universal tickets....is there any hope??? |

| Right now they have the 7 day 2 park passes for $99.99 (regular $124.99). You get a coupon book with $150 in savings if you purchase a ticket online (for a limited time). Some of the deals in the book include free kids meals in City Walk and food and merchandise discounts in the parks and the hotels. I got one of our tickets for free, and will be getting the others through a friends and family discount (insurance agency) for $94.75. But I decided to go ahead and buy one off the website to get the discount book! I'll get the last two through the agency discount. Hopefully there will be some decent deals in there (since I will already be eligible for AAA discounts). |

| That's right - forgot about the AAA discount, you can save a few bucks off of the $99 pass if you're a AAA member. The discounts may vary based on where you are located, but on the AAA South site the 7 day ticket is $96.95. The 1 day/2 park ticket is $64.95 on AAA south. And if you purchase a combo of adult/child tickets you get a "Kids Eat Free" card. This gives you a free kid's dinner at over 100 restaurants in the greater Orlando area with the purchase of an adult meal. Includes NBA City and NASCAR grill: Kids Eat Free Card

| I would suggest keeping an eye on their website. Back in 2006 they had a special where you purchase an adult ticket and get a child's free plus they tacked on an extra 3 days to the 2 day ticket. It was a great deal for my son and I. Not sure if they have had anything like that recently.
