Please tell me about restaurants at Universal / IOA

We will be visiting Universal for the first time in over ten years

I am tweaking our WDW ADRs and wondering whether Universal restaurants have the equivalent of ADRs - are there places we should be making reservations for table service restaurants? Or is it all basically counter service?

Thanks!!

We loved our meal at Mythos in Islands of Adventure and I'm sure that was reservations. Emeril's in CityWalk is another great choice and you definitely need reservations for that.

We love Margaritaville in CityWalk - walk up was fine for that. I know you can visit them in other cities, but we don't have any close by us.

We really enjoyed our Mythos meal as well. We did not have reservations and were seated fairly quickly. We also loved Finnegan's in the Universal park. Once again, no reservations, but we ate lunch here. Quickly seated and served.

Does anyone know if you have to book in advance for Hard Rock Cafe? Went there way back in 91 so it might be time for a return visit! xxx
