| Welcome to the Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure forum and the Passporter boards! ![]() According to Universal's website, you can only use the free refill Sipper Cup at participating restaurants for one day: Quote:
Hope this helps!

| Since there are only 3 participating restaurants for the meal deal at each park, you may want to go with the purchased sipper cup since it is refillable at more places.

| Ok, i'm confused! i like the idea of buying a refillable cup without having to do the meal plan... is there another option in the park to buy a sounvenir cup and then only pay the 0.89 for each drink????? is so how do i get one/how much are they? i do like the idea of the meal deal but i'm not sure how long we will stay in the park especially as our hotel is nearby....am i right in thinking that we can purchase the meal deal on the day we visit the park in the park????? Thanks for your help! Jayne xxx

| Yes, you can buy a refillable cup in the parks without the meal plan. We bought one in 2007 but I can't remember how much they were. I think you can get them at pretty much any place in the parks that sells fountain drinks. And you're correct, you can buy the meal deal at the park: Quote:

| I just checked allearsnet.com - they have some Universal menus online although they aren't that current. The one I checked was from 2008 and the souvenir cup was $6.99, I think that is the refillable cup. I think there is another website that has more current menus. I'll do some searching and see if I can find it.

| okay now dont know why this is so confusing but : Im getting the meal deal and the all you can drink cup. Now i can refill it for free in the three places that i will eat. but i can also go to carts and pay .89 to have it refiled if im not near a resturant? then i can bring the cup back everytime i come and get .89 refiles. BUT im getting the meal pass for Universal Studios, can i buy refils in this cup at IOA on other days. |

| There are 2 different cups: One is the cup that you can only purchase if you purchase the meal plan. It has free refills at any location included on the meal plan. The other cup can be purchased at any restaurant in the parks that serves fountain drinks. Refills are .89 each. I don't know about buying refills with the meal plan cup. You might call Universal directly and ask about that.

| I'd do the math, IMHO I don't think the meal deal is that great a deal. We didn't use it when we went last year. Don't like that your limited to where you can eat either.
