Question IOA things to do?

I've never been to IOA but I love UStudios. What are fun things to do besides the rides at IOA. We will ride the rides but I'm just curious as to what else they have.

IOA has some awesome photo ops in SuperHero Island and Toon Lagoon. It's a riot to check them out and see what kind of pictures you can take.

Islands of Adventure: Live the adventure of a lifetime Have fun, IOA is great. Love the theming as you walk around the different lands. Love Spiderman, Popeyes Bildge rats, and Dudley Do Right. Do these early as the lines later get very long. Esp if it's a hot day for the water rides.

Here's some things I like to do in IOA (besides the rides!):

Shopping - Port of Entry has some cool shops. I always stop in the candy store, the Christmas shop, and the shops with the exotic clothes.

Marvel Super Hero Island - be on the lookout for characters. Spiderman often posts for photos in the gift shop across from Dr. Doom. There is also a mini parade of Marvel characters. There's a large game room near the Dr. Doom entrance, and face painters.

Toon Lagoon - Donna mentioned all the photo ops here - be sure and check out the Marmaduke photo op near Dagwood's. There's a viewing area for Dudley Do Right's Ripsaw Falls where you can squirt unsuspecting riders.

Jurassic Park - the Discovery Center is an indoor exhibit with many hands on activities - great place to escape the afternoon sun! As you walk towards Lost Continent, there is a great photo op with a T-Rex.

The Lost Continent - this is my favorite island - it is beautiful! There are 2 show type attractions: The 8th Voyage of Sinbad (stunt show) and Posideon's Fury. I don't know the status of these, if the Harry Potter construction has affected them or not. There are some carnival type kiosks here with an ancient flair: fortune tellers, guess your age, weight, etc. Mythos is a highly ranked restaurant that is very popular.

Suess Landing - pure eye candy! Be on the lookout for Things 1 and 2, Cat in the Hat, and the Grinch.
