Park hop or not?

We are going for two days and trying to decide if it is easier to do one day per park. We have been to US before but not IOI. It isn't all that much more expensive to get two-day, two-park tickets, but we also want to do Express Pass.

Your thoughts?

Honestly, I wouldn't bother because you already did Universal and Islands of Adventure can easily be done in a day, especially if your getting express passes. The rides may be spread out and the park may look big but it really isn't and there aren't as many rides, not yet at least, not until the Wizarding World of Harry Potter opens.

Just do a a park a day and get those express passes they come in handy or you can just stay at a Universal Resort and automatically receive the express pass for your length of stay.

Have fun!

It just depends on if you want the flexibility in case you finish one park in less than a day. Does your group love thrill rides? Then they will want a full day at IOA, and may want to go back for more. But if you don't want to spend the extra, I think you can fill one day at each park.

Have you checked the price of the 7-day unlimited admission ticket? It's the same price as a 2-day ticket, and you can hop between both parks as much as you want.

Thanks for all the tips guys - as it turns out, just today I got a great deal for four nights at the Royal Pacific that includes a seven day park pass for each of us, so it looks like we will be able to park hop. Now we just need to figure out where to eat...

Congrats! That's a great deal. And you get the Front of the Line access which is very nice, you can ride what you like as many times as you like! I think we rode The Simpsons 5 times!
