Question Should we buy the Universal 7 day pass?

We will be leaving in a couple of days for the World We are staying about two weeks, which is the longest we have ever stayed, due to having developer points to use, coupled with a few nights on our own DVC points.

There is a 7 day pass on the Universal website for the same price as a two day pass. I have been hesitant to buy it - concerned about the weather, how we will feel when we get down there. But I guess a longer trip is a good opportunity to take the kids to Universal, since on shorter trips we never wanted to give up our time at the Disney parks (at least I didn't )

Should I bite the bullet and order the tickets Is it correct that the 7 day pass for the same price as 2 days in only available online (I think this is what it had said on the website).

BTW, it will be me, DH, our twins (10), and DS2 (19 months). Will we get enough out of Universal to make it worth it? Nervous as to whether I need to buy the express pass, but I don't think I will buy online, since you need to choose your day in advance when you do the add-on.

Any feedback would be great! Thanks

I am thinking it shouldn't be too busy (I know WDW isn't bad at this time), so I don't think you would need the Express Pass. I would get the 7 day pass. That way you can spend some 1/2 days there if you want, or a few whole days. . .it is nice to have the ability to take things at your own pace. I am sure others with more Universal experience will chime in. I have only been as far as City Walk . We have our first Universal trip coming up in early December.

We're spending one night onsite at Universal in October. I plan on getting the 7 day pass. It is the same price as the 2 day, and it is good for up to 7 consecutive days, I think. We've been to Universal a couple times. Many of the rides are thrill rides, but there will still be quite a bit to do for your family. My 14 yr old is a WDW snob and is not excited about going, but the rest of us are. I like Men in Black and Spiderman best. Have fun!

I don't think you can go wrong with the 7 days for the price of 2 ticket. Even if you only go 2 days, you're not losing any money.

since its the same price as a 2 day, you really cant lose, i say get it that way if you decide you want to spend maybe yet another day even or half day you can.

I'd definitely go with the 7 day pass, especially since you have so much time in Orlando. That way you can tour at a more leisurely pace. I also don't think the Express pass will be necessary. Get to the gate early - about 30 minutes before park opening. Universal crowds arrive late, so you can get a lot done in the mornings.

I'd go with the seven day pass, especially as it's going to cost no extra.

Thanks for the encouragement, everyone I'm going to buy the 7 day ticket! Especially since we are traveling with a toddler, I think it will be nice to have the luxury of dividing our visit into smaller chunks over a few different days.
