| Newbie I just joined this forum. I have heard great things about it so I look forward to gaining much information from all of you. My family just purchased the 7 day 2 park tickets for $99. I have a few questions about our tickets. 1. Do they expire except after we use the first day? If we decide not to go next summer will the tickets still be good in a few years? 2. At Universal can you leave the park and return? (Such as to get something out of the car.) 3. I saw on the ticket that I printed out at home that it will only be scanned once? How does that work on a 7 day pass? Thanks for any help you can give. |

| Hi Daisy - welcome to the Passporter boards and the US/IOA forum! I don't know the answers to all your questions, but I'll give it a shot: 1. Do they expire except after we use the first day? If we decide not to go next summer will the tickets still be good in a few years? It's my understanding that the 7 day ticket is good until the first use, then it expires in 7 days. We bought ours several months prior to our trip and had no problems. 2. At Universal can you leave the park and return? (Such as to get something out of the car.) Yes. You can also hop between parks with the 7 day/2 park ticket. 3. I saw on the ticket that I printed out at home that it will only be scanned once? How does that work on a 7 day pass? I don't know about this one! I've seen paper tickets printed at home scanned in the ticket gates. Have fun planning your Universal trip! We love Universal vacations - they are usually more relaxing for us.

| I don't have any more to add, I'm trying to remember, we got those tix in Aug 08, and I think I was able to trade in the paper ticket for a regular one at Universal. I think when I bought the tickets on line there was an option to exchange print out for a ticket at customer service at park. But can't remember for sure. I know they do expire 7 days from 1st use. It's a great deal. We stayed first night at Hard Rock Hotel, for 2 days of Express Pass priv. then moved across the street to The Doubletree.
