Halloween Horror Nights

A few family memebers and myself purchased tickets to the halloween horror nights in oct. @ Universal studios when we are on our disney vacation. I was wondering if there was anyone out there that has been to this? Also what should i expect? like can we take pictures? can we ride any of the rides? stuff like that any info would be great. as i had a less than desireable time when i last visited the parks.. im pooh sized and was only able to ride 3 rides. thanks will

I have NEVER been to Universal Orlando. However I live pretty Close to Universal Hollywood and go to HHN EVERY year. I never even get a chance to TRY and go on a ride, it is so much fun(if you like to get scared or enjoy halloween.) I hear that the Orlando one is way better and way bigger. I have always wanted to go but never seem to be able to get out that way during the event.

The one here in Hollywood, you can take photos and it is a very "ADULT" event. I wouldn't worry about the rides because honestly that will probably be the last thing on your mind while there. Go thru all the mazes and the scare zones.

HAVE A GREAT TIME

I've been to HHN several different years. You can take pictures when you're walking around the park...I can't recall if you are allowed to take them inside the houses, as it's always been too dark and I've always been too freaked out to worry about taking pics inside. I do not recall ever seeing a bunch of flashes going off in the houses however. As far as the rides... if you plan on doing all of the houses and special shows, the only way you'll have time for rides too is if you get an Express Pass. To be honest, we used to go without the EP all the time and then one year we got one and I'll never go without again. It's expensive but the haunted house lines can be upwards of 60-90 minutes easily, but if you have an express pass you'll get through them in about 15 min or less. You also get to ride each ride once with the EP. I can't help you really with the Pooh size part, but if you get the chance definitely ride the Mummy ride. It's my favorite one at either of the Universal parks! Enjoy!!! My sister are still waiting for the theme announcement to decide whether we're gonna hit up HHN this year. (And like another poster said, it's definitely an adult thing! I would have been terrified to go as a young teen/child! In fact, I went the first time when I was 15 and I refused to even go in any of the houses.)
