Do we get same "perks" if we book onsite hotel through Loews website?
We are planning to stay onsite (either RP or HRH) in February, and I am wondering if I need to book a package through the Universal website to get the extra perks - like the 3 broomsticks breakfast, ride passes, early entry, etc....
It might be cheaper to purchase the hotel stay and tickets separately (not sure yet) since we would like the Orlando Flex tickets for Sea World, but we don't want to miss out on the onsite perks.
The 3Broomsticks breakfast (the reservation for it) is part of a special package. And that special package is usually THE most expensive way to book Universal.
You can get breakfast there most days without the package. Just ask when you get there. Though I personally like lunch, and you don't need anything special to get lunch. And they start serving it at 10:30am.
Early Entry and the hotel's Express Pass are both part of being at the hotel itself, it has nothing to do with the package. If you go to the Loews website and look at the hotels, you will see really detailed info on what you get and how you get it on the day of checkin and checkout...they have good info there!
I like the idea of the flex tickets, and if you can buy them from a trusted discount ticket place, even better!
Anyway, we have yet to buy a package. It's always much less expensive, for the trips we've priced out, to do it a la carte with Universal.
