Current pouch owners.....is the material embroiderable? I'd like to get them personalized for everyone if it is possible.

I keep debating on whether or not to order these. I always carry a waist pouch or small backpack. Would these also hold your ID and ticket in the airport? I hate having to dig things out but don't like carrying them in my hands, afraid I will drop them.

They probably can be embroidered. That's a neat idea. You'd have about a half-inch to work with on the top flap, just above the logo.

The material is vinyl-coated nylon taffeta (vinyl on the inside, of course). It may take some fiddling with thread tension to get things working right (Mom was a home ec teacher and taught sewing lab, so some of that rubbed off on me - when I was young I made my own backpacking equipment - packs, stuff sacks, etc. - getting the old Singer adjusted for heavy nylon pack cloth, leather reinforcement patches, and synthetic thread was pretty tricky).
