| Writing in PassPorter Hello, I recently purchased a Passporter to help me plan for my upcoming trip. It is a great book. I pick it up and read it all of the time. My problem is that I am having a hard time writing stuff in it. I feel guilty about it. It's such a nice book, I don't want to write in it. What's wrong with me, LOL? |

| I was the same way I bought my first book. But, then I thought of something. A new trip could equal a new book. It's updated every year anyways and the book serves as another keepsake of our trip.

| Write away!! P.S. my crime is that I'm addicted to highlighting in it.

I have trouble deciding WHERE to write. There are some blank pages, etc, and some places inside the book, but I want to be able to find my info easily. I put sticky tabs wherever I write so they stick out of the book and I can easily find what I need. I label them also. For example, the tab for the "Packing list" pages has "List" written on it so I can find it easily. Have fun planning! 4 days til Disney for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| I have been using PPer books to plan since 2003 . . . I actually JUST wrote in and used a highlighter in one for the first time 3 days ago. It was also the first time I took out all the "extra" pages I just am not going to need for my trip. ![]() It takes some time to get used to the idea of writing in the book, but I like the comparison to it being half-planner . . . you'd write all over a planner, so it's OK to write all over the PassPorter book. Plus you can look back on it later on to see what and how you planned and did . . . and you can always get a new edition.

| I highlight everything important to me (I loved that about college!!) but the planning stuff is ALL in pencil! I did the pockets in pencil too until I realized you could order refills. I did order refills, but now I am too lazy to rewrite the August trip in over in pen. So that will stay in pencil till I am bored one day, or on the plane trip down I will go over it in pen. I say if you are not sure of your plans start with pencil, but once you are definate, write away !!!

| I thought this was a closet issue of mine "Hello, my name is Christine and I can't bring myself to write in my Passporter" I'll admit - I only write in pencil and highlighter - and it look me unitl my 3rd issue to do it. I also freaked out when DH wrote in some items! (Not sure if it was the fact that he has really messy handwriting or if it was teritorial) Next time I'm going deluxe. I have found all of the e-tools to be helpful and acutally helped me get over my fear but I have to have a small binder and my PP taking up too much room. Good luck and write away.
