| Passporter Junior??? I think that since all of the other guides out there that have books for adults and for kids say just that, then we should have ours be a little bit different and go with The Passporter Junior Edition! I think this would be a good thread to let our junior readers submit their ideas for the book. Maybe if they post here then Jenn and Dave might have a good start for their Passporter Junior Edition Guide Book!!! So I challenge our Junior readers to post tips and tricks and ideas about their favorite things to do and see at Walt Disney World...

| Cool! I thought about starting a thread like this, but you beat me to it. LOL Here is my DD's tip: The best place for hair-dos is Harmony Barbershop. We had our hair done in up-do's with glitter and pixie dust for $5 as opposed to $30+ for BBB.

| DS's (age 7) tip is to ride the big rides (his favorite is Big Thunder Mountain) during the parade...the lines are shorter. Also, he had a great view of the parade while getting his hair cut at the Harmony Barbershop.

| DD also wanted to add: Don't be afraid to try something new. Disney is a great place to try new things.

| DS says that when you on Splash Mountain, the drop doesn't seem as big as it is. Enjoy the rides, have fun, but don't try to do ALL the rides in one trip. This way, your family gets to go back again for another trip.

| DD says to Hold on tight on BTMRR because your butt might come up off the seat in some parts. Kids should definitely see the 3D shows but during Honey I shrunk the Audience because there is 1 creepy part during the show when the Audience is shrunk.

| Haha, I have a few. Try a cup of shaved ice at the Japan pavilion in World Showcase. If your parents don't want to go on a ride, use the single rider line if possible! (I know they say it's not that fast, but believe me, it's much quicker than waiting in stand by.)

| Peter, age 9, says that no Star Wars fan should miss Tatooine Traders. He saved his allowance for months to spend at TT.

| A joint idea from DS & DD... Make sure to make use of the pool especially if it has a water slide...

| My DD-9's tip....Even though the "It's tough to be a bug" show has it's funny moments, it was to scary for some kids. Most of the parents we talked to in line thought it would be okay for their kids, but then we saw them heading for the exits before the show was over!" I waited all year to see this show, then wound up in tears because I was scared, we stayed for the whole show but now I know what to expect and I won't do this one again until I'm older. So my advise, have the kids who might be scared by a ride or show skip this one. |
