| just got 2009 PP Dh and I were at Costco yesterday. As I rounded the isle in the book section, well,.. I almost jumped on the whole table as I hollered "they have passporters here". DH whirled around, and for a split moment, I think he contemplated walking on and not acknowledging that he knew me. (LOL) Needless to say I was very excited and picked up a copy for myself and our friends who go to the world in a Mar 09. I am a Happy PP girl and can't wait to read it cover to cover. |

| Allaina, thanks so much for the report! I've been waiting to hear whether the book is out on the shelves in Canada yet. Folks, the PassPorters are "only" in Canadian Costco stores, not the US Costco stores (one step at a time!). For the first time, PassPorter is also being stocked in quantity by Chapters/Indigo (the Canadian equivalent of B&N, Borders, and Amazon combined). So, to all our Canadian friends... I encourage you to support the Canadian stores that are selling PassPorter by referring your friends and relations there when you recommend our book. If the books are successful at Costco Canada and Chapters/Indigo this year, we can look forward to similar Canadian availability in future years. This should be a "win" for everyone. Widespread availability (and sales) in Canada are (of course) great for PassPorter, and it also means our Canadian friends will no longer have to pay the ridiculous shipping rates we have to charge for international orders at our online store.

| If only our Quebec Costco's sold English books. Alas. No matter, I picked mine up through Chapters/Indigo (which I have always called Chapigo since I was working for that company when they merged. It's sort of stuck with friends and family and former coworker since 2000. Heh) online. Funny story - I was buying some Christmas gifts for my husband in early December and I was *this* close to making the free shipping dollar amount, and for some reason in another tab I had the Passporter site open and saw that the 2009 PP is an anniversary edition! In colour! Wow!! So, um, I sort of added it to my order. As a Christmas present to myself I suppose since at that time we had NO plans to visit Disney World any time soon (having just been in Februry). But at the same time my order arrived we'd received one of those discounted offers in the mail and then... well by Christmas Eve we had a January 2009 trip planned and booked. Oops? *giggle* And I LOVE my Passporter to pieces. This is my third one and aside from the helpful information, awesome passpockets and stickers one of my favourite things about it is the smell! I know I sound crazy I am sure, but I love the smell of the PP and it fills me with extra excitement as I look through it and write up our days, etc. THANK YOU SO INCREDIBLY MUCH for this book!!
