what should I do passporter order question??

Hello Everyone,

I have ordered my 2009 wdw passporter deluxe on Amazon UK (before waterstones in the Uk became stockists ) for £17.15 delivered about $25. However I ordered it before Christmas and I have been sent two delay emails (so far) the next date I have been given for the order is March 4th. part of me wants to cancel at Amazon and order at Waterstones but in Waterstones its £25.99 about $38.

Im not at WDW until sept.

what would you do ????

The trouble is, with our exchange rate right now, the Amazon one is a good deal. As you're in Chelmsford, how about phoning the Bluewater Waterstone's? They had a load in there a while ago - check if they still have them and if so, how much. At least you could lay your hands on it straightaway....

Thumbs up

Not that I can contribute anything to the original poster, but I think it is so super that we have community members all over the world that can help each other with PP order problems. Isn't this amazing? They don't call it the world wide web for nothing!!
Clare I hope you get your PP very soon!

It could very well be the same price - I genuinely don't remember what it was priced at. The standard PassPorter price is $23.95, so even at $1.40 to £1 (about our exchange rate right now, give or take), you should be able to get it for just over £17...

In the case of both Amazon and Waterstone's, they'll have to bring the book in from the States. Currently, our UK distributor does not have the Deluxe in stock (just the spiral).

I can only wonder why Amazon is taking so long - there's no shortage of Deluxes in Amazon's US warehouses, or at our US distributor. At this point, however, March 4 may be a fairly reasonable wait - I doubt Waterstone's could receive the book any faster (without paying excessively high shipping costs).

I had the Deluxe on order from Amazon for over 2 weeks. In the end I cancelled and got it from the Book Depository (an Amazon seller) in 4 days! It was about £25 but I just wanted it sooner rather than later.
