Question DINING PASSPORTER?

Would you ever write just a Dining Passporter? I would love just to look through it and take it with me on my trip. It would be great to have all of the TS, QS, and CS menus at all the parks. Just wondering. Thanks for all you do!

That is a neat idea, but my goodness, including all the menus would be a lot of work, especially as they change so often.

So maybe I'm not the only one who gets so much fun planning our meals???

We are going to Myrtle Beach for Spring Break and I am bereft....there is no website with menus to research and mull over. No EMH to look up - no Passporter forums and TR to read as I anticipate our trip! We leave in 3 weeks and I can honestly say we are more excited for our next WDW trip in 8 months!

Cheryl hit the nail on the head. A printed book of menus would be out of date almost immediately. Both Disney and Kevin Yee have produced dining books, and some years back there was a great book about vegetarian dining by Susan Schumacher and Than Safel... none have done particularly well in the book stores.

However... there's always a possibility that we can someday produce an e-book that might fit the bill - something you might print-out yourself, or access from your iPhone. You've got my gears turning at the moment!

Thank you all for your responses. I know that I like to look over the menu a little bit before I book something or if I'm at the park want to see what they have to offer. Dining is always an important aspect when you go on vacation. I can see that it could become outdated. Good point. I was just curious I know that it would come in handy. Thanks again for the info about the books! Love the website!

This is exactly how I feel! I get so frustrated when I try to plan a non-Disney trip because it is so hard to get information. Last year we did a long weekend at another amusement park (gasp- I know) and I had a hard time even getting info ahead of time on the park hours, food options, etc. And it does seem that alot of my WDW planning revolves around food!

One thing we tend to do is look at the menus on All-Ears and print up what ones catch our eyes. Then we highlight the most important so we can browse and choose at our own pace before hand.

I have an old Dining at WDW book, not sure who published it though. It was great because it has menues of all the restaurants in it but I see how there may not be enough demand for a printed book. An e-book that can be updated a little more easily, though, would be awesome!

we wound up printing out menus from All Ears and putting them in a notebook. Even at that we only printed ones that we thought would be a possiblity. it was nice to have in the room when we were thinking about quick service places, but too bulky to carry to the park.
