Roughly the end of the year. It sometimes comes out sooner, sometimes later. Watch our web site and newsletter for details on pre-ordering and availability.

I guess it would be easier to finish once the FLE is opened.

Thanks, Jennifer.
Yes, I ordered it abt a week ago - and have been reading the electronic version on my Kindle. I couldn't wait!!! And I plan on giving the hard copy version to my 12 yr old DGD so she can help plan our trip. I'm curious to see what she picks out as her "must do/must see" items.

I figured that going in December was justification enough to order the 2013 edition, too! (Like I really needed a reason!)

Any idea if the 2013 edition will include updates to Fantastyland? Or is it still too early for that?

We've already had extensive coverage of the changes in the 2011 and 2012 editions. In 2011 it was a sidebar, as all the existing attractions were still open. For 2012 we replaced the attraction descriptions of closed attractions with "regular" descriptions of the new attractions, to the extent they were known. This is our regular practice. Certain info, like age/height requirements, queue conditions, and certainly smaller details aren't know until a new attraction opens, but Disney does announce the "big picture." As time goes by (because it's often two editions before the new attraction is opened), we fill in the blanks as they become known, and do the final polish-up once the finished attraction has opened.

Since Fantasyland is such a large project, the 2012 edition has an entire page dedicated to an overview of the project, and we already have regular attraction descriptions for Ariel's Undersea Adventure, "Double" Dumbo, Enchanted Tales with Belle, The Great Goofini, Princess Fairlytale Hall, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. We also retained the description for Snow White's Scary Adventures, as it had yet to close. We're quite proud that our 2012 Fantasyland map included all the new attractions - probably the first map to show them in their proper places (Disney's own maps only show attractions that have opened).

So, what will 2013 have? We've polished-up what we already have - the Storybook Circus area has opened, so that will have eyewitness info, including Fantasyland Station and Dumbo's Splash 'n' Soak Station, for which no details were announced pre-opening. Additional information that has been revealed for the attractions that have yet to open, or will be opening in December. We'll be integrating those features that we we normally would mention/list in the book but would not describe in detail, such as Gaston's Tavern, Be Our Guest Gifts, Ariel's Grotto, and the shops in the Storybook Circus area. In the dining chapter we'll be adding a "regular" description of Be Our Guest restaurant.

All in all, it'll have everything known about the new Fantasyland that we can pack in. It's what we do.
