I was wondering if anyone else is having trouble with their e-versions of the 2013 WDW Passporter in iBooks. It takes a long time for each page to load, which makes it really hard to read! We're headed down to the Mouse in a few days & I would love to have my Passporter handy to look things up while we're touring, but I'm worried I won't be able to get the info, especially if I'm on the Disney wifi or in an area with low 3G signal. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Carol

I'm sorry you're having trouble with the electronic edition.
It can certainly take time to download to your iPhone from the web site (it's a 37mb file), but you should only have to do that once. Once you've opened the file in iBooks, you won't need WiFi or or 3G - it's been saved to your bookshelf in one of your Collections in the iBooks library (PDFs, normally). As an alternative to downloading right on your iPhone, you could download the file on your computer and drag/import the file into your iTunes library. Then, you can sync the iPhone with the computer to get the file.
Now, since it is a large file, iBooks only renders a limited number of pages at one time. So, if you flip a page you may see a blank (white) page for a few seconds. How long that takes can depend on which model iPhone you have (newer is faster), how much memory it has (8gb, 16gb, 32gb, 64gb), and the general condition of active memory on the iPhone.
For example, if you have a lot of apps running, performance may suffer. Similarly, if your iPhone hasn't had a full power cycle for a while [hold the Sleep/Wake (power) button down until "slide to power off" appears], you may improve performance a bit by doing that.
