Hi, folks!

As you may already know, our message board was down for much the day. We're having problems keeping enough disk space available for the message board to use. We've decided it's time to move to a bigger, better server, and in order to do that we had to upgrade our software. We're hoping to do the move this weekend or next week. When we move, the board will probably be down for a day or two (last time it was down for three days, as I recall). It could happen at any time, but if we're lucky, we'll be able to give you a bit of a heads up.

Also, please be aware that the message board could go down again, especially if we're all particularly chatty. [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img] If this happens, please e-mail us and we'll keep you updated as usual.

In the meantime, check our the cool new features our message board has now:

* Community Directory (click the directory link near the top of the page)
* Private Message Notification (watch for a message near the top of the screen when you log in)
* Ability to choose your own time zone, and date/time format (in your profile)
* Today's active topic list is now a rolling 24 hours
* You can now edit a post within 10 minutes of posting it and avoid the "Edited by" line at the bottom (but if you edit more than 10 minutes after you post, it still shows up)
* Toggle for last post column (and contents) in forum summary and topic list
* Jump to New Posts link
* Report post to moderators link
* Topic starter gets an e-mail when a thread is moved, and a "topic moved" icon appears.
* New e-mail preferences

There are a few more things, but we're not quite ready to implement them.

You know it's really weird because I was on for like five minutes and the phone rang. When I came back and attempted to get into a thread it took me back to the error message that'd been up while the Board was down. This was at like 9:53P tonight I think.

Thanks J & D for all your hard work - us addicted passporters appreciate it! I have a question: If you need disk space, can you delete some of the older, non disney posts/topics to make more room?
