| I always bring my Passporter with me on vacation but leave it in the room. I only take that particular days' Passporter Pocket with me in my backpack each day. I just posted about that in the Making More Magic forum... Idea that I want to share about Passporter Pockets

| PassPorter to the parks I do not carry my PassPorter to the parks. I do however make copies of pages that I will need for that day. If you do not have access to a copier you can just take the page out. I normally carry the page in a zip lock bag to avoid sudden rain storms or water rides. I also jot down an Advanced Dining Reservation numbers that I might have for that day. As a back up I normally put them on the calendar in my cell phone with a reminder. When you start to have fun time passes. Melanie

| Hi Shawna I visited WDW in January 2007 with my trusty Pasporter Deluxe Version in hand. I actually took the maps out of the binder and took those to the parks with me as they really are the most detailed and informative that I have come across. I have a little tip that would be helpful if travelling with a bum bag. I got a hold of a packet of index cards, the sort a business might use to record details on and file in a metal box. I made a card for each ride at each of the parks. On the cards I would record any information I had gathered ie. where the best place to sit was on a ride or attraction, any hidden mickeys to look for, the best times to visit the attractions etc. It really helped when trying to plan the days as I could easily shuffle the cards into a different order if I had to, before leaving for our holiday, and then when I was on site if things didn't go according to plan I could reshuffle them again and re plan on the spot, according to my information, what the best way was to avoid crowds and enjoy the attractions more. They were so handy and easily fitted in the palm of my hand so that I could actually carry them with me all day or stuff them in my pockets or bum bag. I hope this helps you in your planning. Have a great trip Toppy |

| Odd man out -- we DO carry ours, and we have the deluxe (biggest!). We carry a backpack, so we throw it in there and leave everything but camera/wallet in the stroller during rides. What we really like about it is the maps and travel tips (ie different ways to get between parks). Also, we actively use the restaurant guides. We put in our own ratings last time, and I transferred those into our new books. Planning ahead is great, but sometimes you just have to go with the flow. And when the flow is going, it's great to have the passporter at hand! |

For those of you that like the maps, don't want to pay/don't like the deluxe version and/or don't want to tear the maps out of the spiral version: I ordered an old version of the deluxe refill just for the maps and extra trip pockets. It was actually cheaper than ordering the extra pieces I needed. There may be a couple of changes to the maps (closed attractions, etc) but overall the maps are SO much better than the ones available at the parks, and this was a cost-effective way to have a set of maps I can take with me without taking apart my guidebook. So, keep a lookout for the sales of old books, or even check out ebay etc - you just might luck out. | |

| I'm taking the book with me, but we won't be taking it to the park everyday. I've made laminated 3" x 5" cards for the "park of the day" with must see/do attractions and our ADR #'s. I've also pulled the park maps (awesome, awesome maps) out and cut them down a bit to fit into our cross body bag that we'll be taking. |

| We carried our spiral with us in the parks. With a baby bag and stroller our pp was no burden. I referred to it often and made budget notes throughout the day on the back of the pockets. In truth it was like my linus security blanket. When I didn't have it with me I felt brainless as I'd taken so many notes in its margins, highlighted, sticky noted, and more or less breathed it for the past planning months.

| I carry them with me to WDW. But before I go I laminate the maps and then velcro them on to our stroller top, so we can have them right there in front of us. It also makes our strollers easier to find.

| I am another that brings it with me to FL, but I don't take it into the parks. I did on my first trip, but it got so munched up! So, I keep it at the hotel, and look forward to filling out the daily events part at the end of each day. |

| We will take ours with us, but not to the parks either. I will have ADR#'s in my phone and we will go over the maps and what we are going to see and do for the day while we are (ok I'm) getting ready in the morning. |
