ECV and MK RR Question

Are you able to take your ECV with you on the Rail Road in the Magic Kingdom? I have been reading all the ECV threads and haven't seen anything mentioned about this.

We'll have two ECV's with us so I am not sure if this will matter either...

Hi

When I went a couple of years ago and had to use a EVC I do not recall them being allowed at all. You can leave it at a station, ride the train around and come back to the stop you left your wheels at but I don't recall seeing any way to take it with you. Only one station is ground level and thats at Toontown.

Hope this helps :-)

We were just to WDW in March. The Guidemap for Guests with Disabilities that we picked up lists all of the Railroad station as an attraction where ECV users need to transfer from an ECV to a wheelchair. If you have a very small and manouverable ECV, you may be able to board with it (I have seen people do that while we were waiting). Larger ECVs or the park rental ECVs would not be able to go on the train.
Otherwise, you can board the train and make a round trip back to your ECV.

We have a smaller personal scooter that my husband uses and it was not allowed on the railroad at all. We had to park it at the station and then we rode all the way around back to the station.
