| Taking mom to WL villas next week. Wondering if anyone knows if beds are open underneath or if they are pedastal. Last trip with mom was to SSR. They told me HA rooms beds were open underneath. NOT! Had to put mom in bed at corner and pull her to top of bed each nite. Very hard on us. |

| I can't remember! I'm sorry. I do know that the murphy beds and bunk beds in the Ft. Wilderness cabins are open underneath. They have wheelchair accessible cabins, but if you're not planning on having your own vehicle, it's probably not very practical. Every resort has wheelchair accessible rooms, and I've always found that WDW will bend over backwards to do what ever it takes to make us happy. |

| Hello, and welcome! I see you are kind-of new. I hope you are finding your way around OK. Well, I tried to find the answer to your questions, but all the online photos of the neds are covered with dust ruffles. I'd recommend calling at 407-824-3200. I'll bet you can get your answer that way! Have a magical trip!

| I would definitely call.. From what I remember beds are on platforms as in most hotels (so nothing can get lost under the beds )

| Wanted to add a update.. We just returned from AKL & the beds were up on regular framed with lots of space under them. I stowed a suitcase & all my shoes under the bed.. There was lots of room for more stuff...
