Scooter discounts / coupons / etc?

I am leaning toward using Randy's Mobility for a week-long scooter rental for our upcoming trip to WDW. Does anyone know of discounts or coupons available? I do see on their website that they offer a low price match guarantee, they will match the price plus 10% discount on a comparable rental.

We will be renting one scooter that can be easily transported via the cargo area in my SUV.

Thanks!!!

And I just thought of a second question -- do the scooter rental places offer / require insurance for loss or damage? Just trying to cover all the bases here. Thanks!

I have never heard of them demanding insurance and Randy's does come recommended. Some do offer insurance but I would not get it. Randy';s and other sites usually offer quick repairs or replacement of scooters. Scooters rarely get damaged unless you are really crazy like myself.

We just rented from Scooterama. I was not impressed. The scooter my dad had did not have arms. It seems the majority of scooters I saw in the park were from Walker. We plan on renting from there the next time.

I've heard good things about Randy's, but have always used Walkers. I recommend them very highly. A pleasure to deal with, and the service is perfect.

www.buenavistascooters.com is who we've used for wheelchairs and plan to use for renting a scooter for this year's trip too. Extra insurance is offered by some agencies and included by others. I haven't seen any coupons for scooter rentals, but renting by the week is cheaper than it would be paying day by day.

You will find a lot of rental scooters don't have arms as they tend to get damaged.. I took the arms off mine when I took it on my trip last week. I am glad I did, It was one less thing to get ruined on the airplane ..
