| Best place to see the parades from a wheelchair Since we will be taking DD's wheelchair to WDW next month for the first time, I am wondering where would be the best place to catch a good viewing of the parades and Wishes. As for Illuminations in Epcot, we have a 7:30 ressie at Rose and Crown. I am hoping for an outside table so we can enjoy dessert while we watch Wishes. SO I am mostly wondering about MK.

| There are usually places set-up for wheelchairs / ECV's at parades.. Check with the cast members on site roping off the parade route.. I usually try to park my ECV towards the end of Main Street for wishes. They have places all along the parade route at Animal Kingdom set aside for ECV / Wheelchair users & their familys.. DHS is pretty much the same set-up. Enjoy!!!

| Hi Pamela. My favorite places for seated viewing is the patios of the restaurants w,z, and the ice cream parlor (c) on thismagic_kingdom_map. I don't use a chair, and those places are not actually wheelchair seats, but I am sure you can fit a chair by the rail and watch. If you go outside the ice cream parlor you can see Tinkerbelle go right overhead. You can also find the wheelchair seating here.

| I did the DLR parade last night in Disneyland. I can tell you that on both coasts it is better to camp out and find a good spot. I was in a spot where my mom and I could not see the dancers well. Wheelchairs were wheel to wheel also and the wheelchair might be back a bit so that she cannot see well. i rather on both coasts stake out a spot thus giving me front row viewing in a really good spot. Park her on the curb so she can interact with the characters. DLR has reserved disabled seating for parades. WDW has reserved disabled seating areas for parades and fireworks. Ask guest services if you cannot find them on the map/guide

| Thanks for the link Sandra. I was able to find the Wheelchair Parking areas for the parade viewing. That helped out a lot.

I always go into these long descriptions to explain my favorite seating, and I finally figured out that this was a quicker way!

| You need to get there early for the wheelchair areas or you will be out of luck. We found that the areas over by frontierland are great for viewing the parades and liberty square also. We found a spot on a walkway in frontierland for our son in his wheelchair and it worked out great! We saw the Xmas parade from their and they were right in front of us. As for wishes, I recommend getting a spot at the end of main street or up in the trainstation outside seating area. That way you can see all the fireworks and hear the music.
