| audio assistive device? I know all my friends here will be able to help with this question. My "dreams take flight" group of kids is visually impaired and speak mostly french. there are 8 of them. one of the Air Canada employees travelling with the kids asked about audio assistive devices (?hand held) to help the kids. it would be great if they were in french. it seems to me i have seen folks with some sort of earphone things on and that those were in different languages. so, can anyone help me out with any info about any such devices? thanks..... |

| Here's a link to the page on allearsnet Assistive Listening Devices It doesn't say if they come in French, you'll have to ask at Guest Relations. Although since I'm guessing that since they are coming on an Air Canada plane, they are probably coming from Quebec and some should have some understanding of English since English and French are the two official Canadian languages. Make sure you check with the kids first to see if they need the devices in French or English first as it may be that they will be able to make due with a device that is English only if that is all that is available.

| Deaf Travel Information - Walt Disney World According to the following sites there are headsets with translators. Also check with guest services to see what can be done for them in advance since it is a group. Maybe though not likely they will provide a CM who would translate. The deposit is more than $0 but talk to CMs since it is a group of kids. Walt Disney World for Foreign Tourists Quote:
