My son has a Mitochondrial Disorder which resulted in severe developmental delay and autistic mannerisms. He has many senory issues as well. He has been to Disney twice and it was great each time. We are going for Xmas this year, we now know he is allergic to peanuts but that isn't stopping us.

| You know, I have never felt like we had a Disability, because frankly, it never keeps us from doing what we want to do. . . But, after looking at what we all have, it suddenly occurred to me that we are dealing with several disabilities that make our WDW trip a bit of a challenge. I have mild asthma, and arthritis in both ankles (Extremely flat footed). I have to ride a scooter now when I am at a place like WDW simply because of the distance. My 11 year old son is HIV positive and also has serious asthma. Our 5 year old grandson has ADHD and Aspergers Syndrome, which is probably the most challenging, particularly for his age. But we have found the CM's to always be VERY helpful, and. . .we refuse to slow down and let the "problems" be too large. All in all, on our next trip (Sept. 1-12, 2008), there are five of us going, and three of us have "disabilities". But we have a GREAT TIME, and enjoy our time together. WE CAN'T WAIT! ! !

Yeah nothing stop me yet. I'm all over WDW except AK since it is like our Wild Animal Park here in San Diego. I've been to all the hotel around the 7 Seas lake, EPCOT and Disney Hollywood (when I was there it was still MGM) by boat. Also almost all the rides are wheelchair friendly. Oh DownTown Disney with the help of my parents and my rental disable van. Next time I'm trying the Disney express buses. To see how that goes.

Thanks, for showing us Thank you for pointing out to all WDW and WDL travelers that we don't need to be perfect to travel. I have CHF and a few other things are ready listed. add this BOO jumping pumpkin into your signature. ***This is just a fun way to spread the fun within the PP community. Follow these 7 Easy Steps carefully, Here are instructions for adding the pumpkin Mickey to your signature. 1. Right click on the pumpkin. 2. Select "Properties." 3. Highlight and then "copy" the address. This will start with http, and it has photobucket in it. It looks like the name of a website. 4. Go to User CP and select Edit Signature. 5. If you look above where the writing goes, you will find a small icon with a yellow mountain on it. Click on this. 6. "Paste" the address from Step 3. Click OK. 7. You will now see an IMG sign in your signature. When you save the changes, your signature will have a pumpkin Mickey bouncing in it. Enjoy. Thanks for Booing me Trish.

Oh yeah thank then I will just get on the monorail to the TTC and hop on the bus to AK next time. Or if I feel like going to Down Town Disney again I'll go there. But I wasn't to impress with it. I like ours a bit better here in CA it a bit smaller. From what I read on the history of DL Hotel they pretty much tore down half of the good stuff that they had to offer in the pass, to put in the Downtown Disney they only structure that really survive is the monrail station all they did with that is remodel it. ![]() So I kinda have mix feeling about DownTown Disney here. At least I can roll around at CA Downtown Disney without transport from any of the tree hotels or the close neighberhood hotels. ![]()

ok about the bouncing Mickey Pumpkin I don't see a yellow mountain on top. By the way do you mean CP here on this web site? There is a yellow A on top but no mountain. Has any one eaten at the Garden Grill in the land Pavilion? The people there were wonderful. I even had my pal mickey come over to stay hi and Chip and Dale. So cool ![]()
