Adding a 14 yr old with Asperger's, an 11 yr old with ADHD. Both boys have POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome), which is a blood pressure disorder.

Re: WDW Disabilities List

My son has severe scoliosis and is only 3 years old. He has already had one surgery (anterior spinal fusion with 4 screws) to correct one curve. He actually has 3 curves in his spine. He loves WDW and you would never know anything was wrong unless you study his back.

Re: WDW Disabilities List

My DH had a stroke 5 years ago at the age 45 which left him with no feeling on the left side. He has been in a wheelchair since.

Re: WDW Disabilities List

Hi - We're new here to this board and my son has chronic kidney failure (pre transplant but coming really soon) and plastic bronchitis. We went to Disney with the Make a Wish Foundation 11/03 and just bought a timeshare so we can go every year if we're all healthy enough

Re: WDW Disabilities List

My son with high functioning autism had a terrible reaction to Stratterra. He was manic too. Up ll night working frantically on his comic books. Anger, rages. Weird commentary. We did not get him under control until a year later when I had to put him on Risperedal (an anti-psychotic.) I still don't think the situation is resolved. I would like more information if you have it. We gave Josh for attention issues, not depression. I'm so sorry I did it.

We had a bad experience with Strattera, also. Feel free to send me a private message and I can give you a couple websites where you may be able to find information. To send me a private message, click on my screen name on the left (it's highlighted in blue) and it will take you to a screen which shows you info about me. Then scroll down to the bottom. On the left, click to send me a private message (PM).
