| My son has a Mitochondrial Disorder which resulted in severe developmental delay and autistic mannerisms. He has many senory issues as well. He has been to Disney twice and it was great each time. We are going for Xmas this year, we now know he is allergic to peanuts but that isn't stopping us. |

| You know, I have never felt like we had a Disability, because frankly, it never keeps us from doing what we want to do. . . But, after looking at what we all have, it suddenly occurred to me that we are dealing with several disabilities that make our WDW trip a bit of a challenge. I have mild asthma, and arthritis in both ankles (Extremely flat footed). I have to ride a scooter now when I am at a place like WDW simply because of the distance. My 11 year old son is HIV positive and also has serious asthma. Our 5 year old grandson has ADHD and Aspergers Syndrome, which is probably the most challenging, particularly for his age. But we have found the CM's to always be VERY helpful, and. . .we refuse to slow down and let the "problems" be too large. All in all, on our next trip (Sept. 1-12, 2008), there are five of us going, and three of us have "disabilities". But we have a GREAT TIME, and enjoy our time together. WE CAN'T WAIT! ! !
