Spectromagic/Wishes---best place for ECV?

Would anyone be able to recommend the best place to park my ECV (mid-January on a Saturday night) for the best view of both Spectromagic and Wishes? I'll be traveling w/o any other adults, just a 7-year-old, and I don't want to have to do too much crowd navigating. I'm not familiar w/the best spots. Would be great if we could see the Goodnight Kiss and Tinker Bell from that spot, too. (Do they still do those?)

Also, I'm wondering just how crowded it gets at that time of year (Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend). I've only ever visited in the summer. Am I worrying about crowds for nothing? I've read the historical/predictive numbers, but it's really hard to know what that translates to in real life.

Any advice anyone has would be a big help. Thanks so much!

Re: Spectromagic/Wishes---best place for ECV?

There was assigned handicapped seating when we were there in August. Our son is autistic - we had a wheelchair for him - and we simply showed our Guest Assistance Card (GAC) to a CM and asked for help in finding seating for the parade. She led us to a roped off area in the hub. One person is allowed to stay with the handicapped person and the rest of the party has to sit down. I stayed with my DS and my DH sat down with our DDs. There were a lot of ECVs there.

I can't answer you about Wishes, because it is new. We decided to ride The Barnstormer a few last times before the fireworks (no line) and we watched the fireworks from there. I understand that with Wishes, you'll want to be in front of the castle. Have a wonderful time!
