| About the Window Seat: Join Me in an Experiment in Real-Time Trip Reporting! Hi, folks! I had a great idea on the way down to Orlando for MouseFest yesterday, which you can read about in my first installment of the report. Basically, I want to try posting photos and comments about our trip and MouseFest in REAL TIME. So I see it, I snap a photo of it on my iPhone, and I post it here thanks to some web magic I learned recently. There's a tiny delay of 5 minutes, give or take a few, but it's pretty darn near instant. So I created this forum to house my "Window Seat" trip/photo reports. Please leave comments on what you think with each report post. If you ask questions, please give me some time to reply. Remember, I'm IN Florida right now and not at a computer except for a short while in the evenings. All of these reports are "in the field" from my iPhone.  Please note that the first two reports aren't real-time -- they are photos/comments I made earlier when I got the idea, but it wasn't until I got to the hotel that I could set all this up and start reporting. The third report -- and everything that comes after -- was done in real time. The only exceptions may be when I'm somewhere without cell phone or WiFi access (or a place that I need to have such things turned off). I'm not positive I'll be able to do this while onboard the Disney Wonder, but I will if I can. If I cannot, I'll create entries and post them all when I get back on dry land. Also note that this forum is setup to show the posts in reverse chronological order of when they were posted originally, so if you want to read the reports from the beginning, go to the last post and work backward. Tip #1: If you are enjoying the reports, or just like the idea of seeing and hearing about Disney travel in real-time, SUBSCRIBE to this forum so you are notified each time a report comes in. Just open the Window Seat forum, click the Forum Tools menu, then click Subscribe to This Forum and follow the directions. Voila! | Sounds like a great idea, Jennifer! Can't wait to read your reports. It will be the next best thing to being there in person. I love it when my kids are at WDW and call me to tell me what they are doing at that time, so I can imagine I'm their with them.
